I came down to visit Hilton Woods Park on a very wet, windy February day, three years ago. I fell in love with the place immediately and bought a lodge within an hour of arrival. I thought, if I like it so much on such an awful day, what will it be like on a sunny day?

If you like a very peaceful existence, this is the place to chill out completely. There is an abundant bird life in the woods and sitting on my deck a short while ago, I counted 10 different species coming to my bird table.

There is a lovely friendliness amongst the owners and often there is a tea/coffee party going on somewhere on the park. The staff in the office are very helpful with any problems that may arise.

Finally, I would recommend this park to anyone wishing to buy a lodge in this beautiful corner of Cornwall.
