Inspired by Duncan Bannatyne and Debroah Meaden lead her to borrow £10,000 of her father’s money so she could start investing. Simultaneously, she successfully started buying and refurbishing houses which allowed her to generate a profitable business. Her excellent knowledge and experience of property buying and refurbishing subsequently lead her on to gain her first TV role on Get a New Life the BBC.
Melissa saw that The Dream Lodge Group offered higher yields compared to conventional savings accounts and wanted to help promote the ‘no brainer’ deal that is offered to other investors. She also explains that the owners, Simon and Lisa Moir have a strong and reputable investment track record in City, The Dream Lodge Group remains as a private company making each investment personal and unique for each buyer. What would you say was your favorite Dream Lodge?
My favourite has got to be The Summit as part of the Autograph collection. I love what the luxuries the lodge has to offer, it even goes beyond the original home comforts. Who wouldn’t love the modern and sleek style that it has to offer!
How would you decorate your Dream Lodge?
I’m really into natural lighting at the moment, so maybe a retractable glass roof that would let the sunlight in during the day and then have dim lighting for the evenings to give a romantic feel. I would decorate the lounge area with some Farrow & Ball graphic prints that exude an elegant feel.
How would you spend your time in the lodge?
I think I’d spend my time in the lodge to myself, I’d take the opportunity to enjoy the peaceful countryside surroundings whilst writing my own book.
