Management Accountant

We are looking for a confident and proactive individual who has the drive and ambition to assist our organisation as a Commercial/Management Accountant.

In return you will receive a basic salary of £30,000 to £50,000 dependant on experience, working Monday to Friday, 09:00 till 18:00.

The role involves:

• Preparing regular financial statements and accounts, such as profit and loss accounts
• Monitoring spending, costs and budgets
• Analysing the company’s financial performance and present complex data concisely to influence business decisions and drive growth
• Forecasting and planning future spending and profits
• Recommending ways to reduce costs and increase profits
• Making business decisions with other managers
• Carrying out internal audits of various departments
• Providing external auditors with company reports and financial data
• Managing the Finance team
• Overseeing the company’s payroll, credit control and bookkeeping systems
• Work closely with the CEO and Management in providing short and long term budget forecasts
• Manage and achieve financial KPI’s
• ROI reporting and analysis
• Any other ad-hoc accounting analysis work

You will be:

• Advanced in Microsoft Excel and data analytical skills with a logical approach
• Sage 50 Experience
• Strong Excel Experience
• Good mathematical skills and knowledge of IT systems
• Have a strong attention for detail and accuracy
• The ability to explain technical financial information clearly
• Be qualified or working towards a recognised accountancy qualification
• Able to demonstrate your understanding of commercial markets and the impact of market conditions
• Organisation and time-management skills
• Honesty and discretion
• A strong drive for continual improvement and a positive approach to work
• Be an excellent communicator

Access to your own vehicle is highly desirable as the location of the offices are not accessible via public transport.
