Opening in 1971 the main reservoir covers 120 acres and there are two smaller lakes situated at each end of it, set in the beautiful Constable countryside near Colchester. One of the smaller lakes, the Wick Lane Lake covers 3 acres and is very popular with match anglers. The Ramada Lake covers 12 acres and is great for beginners as you are sure to catch plenty of fish here. There are plenty of Carp up to 40lbs each, Pike up to 25lbs and Bream up to about 10lbs so there is plenty for all angling abilities. Over the more recent years they have also built up a good stock of Rudd, Perch, Roach, Tench and Eels. You are able to purchase permits from the fishing lodge or the self service kiosk.

Here they cater for anglers of all abilities and if you are an absolute beginner you are able to book lessons for any age. They offer 7 fishing and 2 training lakes here set in beautiful quiet rural surroundings. The Big Lake has a reputation of being a big fish venue and it offers well spaced woodchip swims and fabulous views. Jacobs Creek Lakes covers 2 acres. The Traditional Lake covers 5.5 acres and holds Carp, Bream, Tench, Rudd, Perch, Roach and Eels. There are 3 Match Lakes available. The Canal holds Roach, Rudd, Perch and Tench. The Training Lakes hold Roach, Rudd, Perch, Skimmers, Gudgeon, Tench and Carp and are perfect for a beginner or young children as there is plenty to catch. This is a privately owned day ticket fishery and overnight fishing is available.

Situated near Maldon on the River Blackwater Estuary it provides 53 acres of complex lakes holding Trout and Coarse as well as 4 Carp lakes. Here you will see an array of wildlife, pontoon fishing and rowing boats. There is a tea room, smokehouse and deli on-site and crafts, pottery, furniture and gifts.
